The home of Margaret Armstrong (elderly woman) was robbed while attending her husband's funeral visitations.

Credit cards, health cards, birtch certificate, cheques, cash and drivers liscence were taken. While grieving her husband's death, she is also notifying government agencies and businesses of the theft.

The investigating officer mentioned that thieves sometimes read the obituaries, to let them know when people are not going to be home.

What is this world coming too? It's difficult enough to lose a loved one!

that's fucking awesome. That's the silliest shit i've heard in a while. Fucking people reading the obituaries to find out what house to hit next.

My question is.. how the fuck do they get the address?

That's terrible. I'm against all sorts of thievery, but to violate another person's privacy and invade their home is simply unforgivable, and for them to do that to somebody who's in the midst of grieving is worse than unforgivable. It's times like these that I hope there really is a Hell.

well if they have the name of the person, all they have to do is use a phonebook
