OK! I agree with free speech, and the right to express your opinion..... But if you read someones blog and you have nothing good to say, THEN DON'T SAY ANYTHING AT ALL! I dislike people who have so much built up anger toward women or anything in general that they just have to post obnoxious, cruel, insenstive replies! If you read by blog and it does not interest you, then don't reply! If you have a different opinion, then please do express that opinion in a friendly manner. It's all...

The home of Margaret Armstrong (elderly woman) was robbed while attending her husband's funeral visitations. Credit cards, health cards, birtch certificate, cheques, cash and drivers liscence were taken. While grieving her husband's death, she is also notifying government agencies and businesses of the theft. The investigating officer mentioned that thieves sometimes read the obituaries, to let them know when people are not going to be home. What is this world coming too? It's difficult...

Hi all, hope everyone is doing well. I walked my son to school this morning and it was freezing rain. Took the new pup with us, she loves the walks, but she's all over the place sniffing. Got home to find that the guys were here to install our new hot water heater. Bought the house in Oct. water heater is probably 15 years old or more. So that's all done and don't have to worry about it. Sorted through all the clothes and blankets etc in our bedrrom closet. OH JOY! Glad it's done. No...

WOW , now I have an excuse for why I drink so much coffee......... take that Hubby! (hubby non coffee drinker) Want a drug that could lower your risk of diabetes, Parkinson's disease, and colon cancer? That could lift your mood and treat headaches? That could lower your risk of cavities? If it sounds too good to be true, think again. Coffee, the much maligned but undoubtedly beloved beverage, just made headlines for possibly cutting the risk of the latest disease epidemic, type 2 dia...

What is wrong with our doctors today? Seems to me they are more concerned about getting paid than making sure their patients are healthy and taken care of. You are sick and go into the hospital emergency department and what happens? They make you wait for hours, then when you get in to the ER you wait another hour or so just to have them tell you that nothing is wrong and they send you home. When my son was first ill, we spent the better part of 2 weeks in the hospital emergency waiting ro...

A friend of ours has recently been killed ( 2 nights ago) while snowmobiling not far from his home when he collided into a farm tractor. I am not sure if alcohol was a factor in his death, but why can't people be more careful? He was 30 years old, leaving behind his wife and 5 children. Brent - you will be missed by many There were 33 snowmobile deaths last year in Ontario. My cousin who was 24, died in a snowmobile accident about 3 years ago when he hit a tree. Please people, enjoy th...

Wow, I finally saw the movie RADIO tonight. What can I say? I was deeply moved by this remarkable story of James Robert Kennedy . I wish alot more people were like Coach Jones Reminds me of when I was in high school and we had to take a Co-Op class, where we would go work somewhere to earn a credit. I worked at a public school in a class for developmentally handicapped children. I work with a little girl named Jen. Boy was she cute. She had this big smile, big brown eyes and long b...

Women over 50 don't have babies because they would put them down and forget where they left them. One of life's mysteries is how a 2 pound box of candy can make a woman gain 5 lbs. My mind not only wanders, it sometime leaves completely. The best way to forget all your troubles is to wear tight shoes. The nice part about living in a small town is that when you don't know what you're doing, someone else does. The older you get, the tougher it is to lose wei...

Why is it that so many people are so quick to criticize others for what and how they write? Some people may not write as eloquently as others, but isn't what they are saying just as important? In most cases anyway. I have read some posts that weren't interesting to me, but that doesn't mean it's not important to the next person. Some people write for themselves, others asking for advice, but doesn't everyone deserve the chance to express their own opinions? This is just my opinion..............
