I sit in the darkness holding you in my arms,
as I stroke your hair and wipe the tears from your eyes,
and tell you that everything will be ok.

I sit in the darnkess,
feeling the softness of your skin,
admiring the miracle that has been created,
promising to care for you forever.

I sit in the darkness singing your favorite song,
listening to the tiny breaths you breathe,
hoping that you know I love you.

I sit alone in the darkness,
remembering how beautiful and special you are,
tears gently rolling down my cheeks,
wishing To Hold You one more time.......
